Android 4.3 for Galaxy S3 is Coming Soon, Software will also be on Note 2
Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S3 is expected to arrive in the near future.
Both the flagship smartphone and the Galaxy Note 2 were supposed to receive only Android 4.2.2, JellyBean soon, however, a new report from a site known as Temefy claims Samsung is also working on the 4.3 version for the devices.
These official updates will begin rolling out in November for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2, according to the report.
The site also says that the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2 will all be upgradable to the next major Android 5.0 build currently known as Key Lime Pie. All of these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, as Samsung has not confirmed the software rollouts.
The HTC One Android 4.2.2, JellyBean update is now available in the U.K., Spain and Ireland.
In order to access the update, users must first download the 1.5MB bug fix which is also currently available. The update began rolling out a little over a week ago in other countries in Europe.
It comes with some new features such as lock screen widgets and a change log for the sense UI feature. Changes have also been made to the notification bar, battery percentages along with the addition of quick settings to the drop down menu. It is said to improve sense 5.0 considerably.
It is 465MB and the company has not announced when it will begin rolling it out in the U.S. However, it should arrive sometime in the near future
