Apple Black Friday Sale Announced Overseas
Apple recently announced its plans to hold a Black Friday holiday sale on its online store.
The sales were announced in Australia, Italy and in the United Kingdom through the company’s website. Apple revealed the information through banners.
The advertisement read: “Mark your calendar now, and come back to the Apple Online Store for the special one-day event. You’ll discover amazing iPad, iPod and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.”
So far, there has been no mention of any specials on the iPhone 4S. Apple, regarding what exact models will be on sale and how much they will cost, provided no information.
Technology website 9to5Mac expects these sales to be announced in the United States shortly.
Best Buy began offering Apple products with some enticing holiday discounts earlier this week, including a MacBook Pro laptop computer.
The retailer is offering a MacBook Air discounted $200 from the regular retail price. The computer is a 13-inch entry level MacBook Air laptop that normally sells for $1,299, but Best Buy cut the price to $1,099.
Apart from sporting a screen a little over a foot large, the MacBook Air includes many anticipated features. For hardware, this model has a 1.7GHz i5 processor, 128 GB of flash storage and 4 GB of memory.
“This is an awesome deal on one of the best portable Macs you can buy,” said technology website 9to5Mac.
This MacBook Air also includes Intel HD Graphics 3000, two USB ports, Thunderbolt port and an SD card slot.
Its height is 0.11-0.68-inch, while the width is at 12.8-inches and depth is at 8.94-inches.
