Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver to Reconcile? 'There's Still A Chance'

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are said to be considering a reconciliation more than two years after the estranged couple announced their separation.

The pair, who recently reunited for their daughter Christina's graduation, has reportedly finalized custody arrangements and finances, which includes $400 million to be split in half. However, they do not "feel any urgency to get a judge to make the divorce official" because they are allegedly open to salvaging their marriage, TMZ.com reports.

"They are not done with each other, and there's still a chance they'll get back together," a source allegedly told TMZ.com.

"Arnold and Maria have sent mixed messages to their friends and family, at times saying they want the divorce, and other times talking about how they still feel love for their longtime partner," the insider added.

Approximately one week after the pair separated in May 2011, it was revealed that the former Governor of California, 65, fathered a love child with Mildred Patricia Baena, the family's long-term nanny. One year later, it was claimed that despite 57-year-old Shriver's divorce filing, she was allegedly open to working on their 25-year marriage due to her Catholic values.

"Maria is a devout Catholic and doesn't believe in divorce, but is still struggling with the profound heartbreak and humiliation she endured by him," an alleged friend previously told The New York Post. "Arnold is desperate to save the marriage; he and Maria are having counseling to work through their issues to get back together."

Shriver, who is a Peabody and Emmy award-winning journalist, shares four children with the former actor. Schwarzenegger previously admitted to having an affair with Baena, which allegedly occurred 14 years prior.

"After leaving the governor's office, I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said in a public statement.
