Baby Lisa Irwin Missing: Police to Meet With Uncle
Baby Lisa Irwin's uncle is voluntarily meeting with Kansas City Police Detectives Tuesday, according to a KCTV5 report.
The man is Debbie Bradley's brother. He was with his sister the afternoon of Oct. 3. when she bought a bottle of wine as well as food at the Northland grocery store.
On Tuesday, police arrived at the home in North Walrond where Lisa's parents, Jeremy Irwin and Debbie Bradley, had been staying up until Friday night. They left with the uncle for a meeting that lasted about two hours.
Police did not say why they made the trip to the home. They told KCTV5 that they are still in the middle of an investigation and conducting interviews.
On Monday, The attorney for baby Lisa Irwin's parents said that his clients are fully cooperating in the search for their missing 11-month-old daughter and the public fails to realize it.
Recently, suspicions have been raised regarding the involvement of baby Lisa's parents in the disappearance of their daughter. Bradley changed the timeline she gave authorities on when she last saw baby Lisa and also said she was drunk the night Lisa went missing.
Last week, the family's legal team canceled interviews between baby Lisa's brothers and authorities in an effort to shield the family from the media.
Family Attorney Joe Tacopina told ABC's "Good Morning America" that he is unhappy with how the case has been conducted so far.
"One of the issues I’m having right now with the way this case has been handled is we’re playing a little too much, with all due respect to you all, to the media. This is a search for an 11-month-old missing baby," he said.
Tacopina added, "We have two parents who are absolutely devastated and grieving. To me, notifying the press every time we have a meeting set up is not something I think is advantageous to either side or this investigation."
Lisa Irwin disappeared from her Missouri home Oct. 4. Police have searched her entire home, surrounding areas and even a lake in an attempt to track her down.
