Ben Affleck Hits Parked Car, Leaves Apology Note (PHOTO)

Ben Affleck hit a parked car in Los Angeles, California Saturday, and following the accident, left a note promising to take care of the embarrassing situation. The Oscar-winning actor was caught red-handed during the incident by paparazzi.

Ben Affleck had just come from taking his two daughters to a meal at McDonald's when the accident occurred. It is unknown if the actor, who is married to actress Jennifer Garner, was distracted by his children, Violet, 6 and Seraphina, 3, but he promptly smashed a parked car's mirror off its hinges.

The 40-year-old actor was nice enough to offer to pay for the damages in a handwritten note, though.

"Hi, I knocked off your mirror! Very sorry! Will cover everything. –Ben," the note read. The actor tucked the hastily scrawled note in the windshield wiper of the gray sedan.

Affleck seemed out for a normal outing with his children, as he wore a plaid shirt and denim blue jeans. Violet chose a pink blouse and shorts with white sandals, and Seraphina headed out in a green printed dress with adorably clunky combat boots.

With both parents being so busy, Affleck also discussed maintaining his successful Hollywood career while also taking care of his family during a recent interview.
Affleck, who is often away on film sets serving as director, admitted that Garner is a more "present" parent.

"I am not very present in the rest of my life," said the "Argo" director. "My wife's very patient. She does everything. If I have time, I try to spend time with the kids, even if just to be a physical presence, the bath, whatever, but my mind's always going, 'How are we going to light that shot tomorrow?'"

The actor confessed to a preoccupation with his work, but that his attitude toward his career has significantly changed since having become a husband and a father.
"Anytime you think, 'I'm wasting my time here,' the first thought you have is, 'I could go home and be with my kids,'" explained Affleck to Details.

He jokingly added, "Now, you may go home and be with your kids and very quickly start thinking, 'I wonder what's on the work front?' Because running around after three kids is very trying."
