Betty White's World Record Set Listed in Guinness' Book
The Guinness Book of World Records is recognizing Betty White for her decades-long career this year.
The 91-year-old starlet has enjoyed a lengthy career in entertainment that began in 1939, and Guinness 2014 has taken notice.
The "Golden Girls" star earned the record for "Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female)" with her 74 years in the business, reported The New York Daily News.

"I was astounded when [the Guinness editors] called to tell me," said White in a statement. "Who? Me?! It's such an honor. The book has always been fascinating to me. I can't believe I'm now associated with it."
"It's a privilege what we do," she added.
White has over 100 titles associated with her career; including "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Mary Tyler Moore," and more recently, "30 Rock" and "Community."
Despite being a nonagenarian, White is still an active entertainer. Along with her current television series "Hot in Cleveland," the actress has also recently appeared on "Pound Puppies" and "The Client List." Just year, White offered her voice in the animated film "The Lorax."
The Illinois native has earned three American Comedy Awards, two Viewer's for Quality Television Awards, and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1995.
More recently, White received a SAG Award for outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role as Elka Ostrovsky in "Hot in Cleveland."
Meanwhile, other unique qualities to White's career include that the actress is the oldest person to ever host "Saturday Night Live."
Last year, the Friar's Club honored White with their annual roast.
"Those Friars may think I'm an easy mark, but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them," she said at the time in a statement.
"This is such an honor to be roasted by the Friar's Club," she added.
White joined fellow inductees of the legendary Friars Club that include Barbra Streisand, Dean Martin, John Travolta, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. The club has also roasted Robert De Niro, Bruce Willis, and Jimmy Fallon.
