Beyonce and Jay-Z Creating Blue Ivy Baby Products?

Beyonce Knowles, 31, and her rap mogul husband Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter are reportedly seeking to create a line of baby products using their 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter's namesake.

The pair have reportedly filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office which will give them three years to prove that they are using the "Blue Ivy" name that they seek to trademark to create products, according to RumorFix.com. The website obtained the application filed by the celebrity couple in which they are seeking to create skin care products, hair products and baby items which include strollers, infant carriers and more using their child's name.

Knowles gave birth to Blue Ivy, her first child, in January 2012. Despite the products that Knowles is seeking to create with her husband using their child's name, the singer told People magazine that she wants to teach Blue Ivy to focus on more than physical appearance.

"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," Beyonce told People magazine, the publication that named her the most beautiful woman in the world. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."

The Grammy Award-winning singer told the magazine that giving birth made her feel truly beautiful.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," Knowles said in the previous interview from People. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

The entertainer told People magazine that her daughter taught her how to love in a different way.

"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," Beyonce said during her People magazine interview last year. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

Knowles is currently gearing up to embark on The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
