On Monday video footage of Solange's assault on Jay Z surfaced online and fans are still speculating what exactly caused the fight. Despite ongoing whispers about the incident, Beyonce made it clear on Instagram that she has her younger sister's back by sharing four heartwarming photos of them together.
"Good Morning," Beyonce captioned in one photo which shows her and Solange playfully posing and smiling in a grassy field.
Another photo shows the pair embracing on stage at Coachella last month and the other two sees them leaning on one another and smiling for the camera.
Solange recently deleted all photos of Beyonce from her own Instagram page except one, taken over a year ago, according to The New York Daily News.
It is unclear why exactly she did this, however fans believe the move likely relates to last week's violent attack.
The famous sisters have always maintained a close bond which is why the violent assault is so shocking.
On May 5 Beyonce, Solange and Jay Z attended the Met Gala followed by an after party at the Boom Boom Room in New York's Standard Hotel where the incident occurred.
A surveillance video shows the "Drunk In Love" singer, 32, entering an elevator and as her sister and husband enter, violence ensues.
Solange, 27, and Jay Z, 44, are seen exchanging a few words and she lunges at him as a placid Beyonce watches on. Beyonce's longtime bodyguard Julius struggles to restrain Solange as she kicks and screams at her brother-in-law.
"Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way. She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was, but she greatly overreacted," a source told Us magazine.
Ongoing theories about why exactly Solange attacked the hip hop mogul are mere gossip at this point as there have been no public statements on the matter from either party.
After the attack Solange left the venue with Beyonce, while Jay Z opted to leave in a separate vehicle and some critics believe this in itself was a demonstration of Beyonce's support for her sister.
It appears that the trio are intent on putting the matter behind them as TMZ.com claims Jay Z and Solange were spotted shopping together in New York on Tuesday, one day after Beyonce and the rapper put on a united front while watching a Brooklyn Nets game.
