Beyonce, Jay-Z Releasing Albums, Starting Baby Business?
Beyonce and Jay-Z have just celebrated the birth of their new daughter Blue Ivy, but that isn't going to stop them keeping up with their careers. Both musicians have reportedly gone back to work and are working on new albums.
Beyonce has only started talk about her new album, but according to songwriter Ryan Tedder, there is a lot to be expected.
"The conversations about [Beyonce's] next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," he told AOL's The Boombox.
Tedder also boasted about how forward thinking Beyonce was.
"All I can say is that you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and takes it all in ... she's not interested in 2012, she's [interested in] what's going to sound good for 2013... Without question she steers the ship. [With Beyonce] you just let her go- she's ridiculous, she's the best."
Jay-Z also released a new hit single right after the birth of his daughter titled "Glory." Within the song, the artist talks lovingly about his new baby girl saying, "My greatest creation was you."
After the conclusion of his Throne tour with Kanye West, Jay-Z has revealed plans to work on a solo project, as well as perhaps another one with West.
"We- I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode- we're in a great place creatively," Jay-Z said. "You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year," he told MTV in December.
Jay-Z and Beyonce also recently trademarked the name of their new baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Fordham law school professor Sonia Katyal explained the trademark to Slate.
"With their Blue Ivy trademark, Beyonce and Jay Z would be the only ones who could use the name in connection with certain goods and services- in this case, baby stuff," said Katyal.
Although that means that they could start their own line of baby clothes, no reports have stated that they will do so.
