Black Friday 2011: More Walmart and Costco Deals Revealed
More Black Friday deals were exposed allowing shoppers to see what retailers are offering on the biggest shopping day of the year.
Walmart is offering the iPod Touch packages starting at $195, Xbox Kinect Bundles for $299, a Canon EOS Rebel T21 for $684.95 and Nikon Coolpix cameras for just $99. They are also offering the original Barnes and Noble Nook for $89.88.
Costco deals have also been revealed. The giant retailer will offer $20 off the JBL on Stage Micro III portable iPhone and iPod touch speaker. They are also discounting $55 off the Tom-Tom Via 1530TM portable GPS and $30 off the Magellan Roadmate 2120T-LM portable GPS.
The wholesale retailer will also offer $40 off Hannspree 24-inch Class 1080p LED Edge Lit HDVT televisions, $180 off Dell 17.3-inch Laptop PCs and $250 off HP G6S 15.6-inch Blu-ray laptops.
JC Penney will also conduct a big sale to keep up with its competition.
The retailer is offering the iHome iP42 dual alarm FM clock radio for $99.88, iHome iP15 color-changing dock for $49.88 and iHome iP21 space-saver alarm for $39.88.
Retailers are conducting any possible deal to get shoppers to empty their wallets this holiday season.
Last week, Online Retailer Amazon unveiled a lightning deals section on their website featuring discounted items for a limited time. The deals change throughout the day and force shoppers to constantly check the page so they do not miss a bargain.
Amazon said it would offer sales on items like electronics, magazine subscriptions, clothing, shoes, jewelry and even groceries.
Macy's has decided to open at midnight on Black Friday for the first time in the store's 153-year history. Kohl's, Target and Toys R Us have all announced they will be opening their doors at midnight as well.
Holiday retail sales are expected to rise 3 percent and 212 million people are projected to go shopping on Black Friday, spending around $39 billion, according to Shopper Trak.
