Walmart and Amazon are two of the biggest retailers in the country and millions of shoppers around the country are looking at the two giants for the best Black Friday sales this year. However, which of the two have the best Black Friday deals on 40-inch TV's? There are great deals to be had on the websites of both Walmart and Amazon, but there are differences, as well.
Currently available on Amazon's website is the 40 inch TCL, a LCD HDTV that is going for only $339 – a whopping $300 off the regular price. Out of over 1,000 reviews on Amazon, this TV has an average rating of 4 stars.
To get the best idea of what a TV will be like, it is sometimes a good idea to read all the bad reviews first. This gives the shopper a idea of what people did not like first, which is important because quite often, bad reviews are not aimed at the actual product, but at the company itself, which is the case with several of this TV's “bad” reviews.

Apparently, there are some problems with TCL's customer service, which can be rude and inattentive, according to two reviews. Other than that, several reviews complained about the screen blacking out, poor placement of cable ports, and low-quality sound.

Therefore, the TV's positives appear to far outweigh the negatives, but there does seem to be a customer service issue. All in all, this seems to be a great deal for a 40-inch TV at only $339.
Walmart has several 40-inch TV's for around the same price as Amazon's TCL, including the Sceptre 40" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV, which has a 3-star average of Walmart's website, as well as the RCA 40" Class LCD 1080p Widescreen HDTV for $369.
