BlackBerry 10 Release Date Coming Soon, RIM Sends Invites to Unveiling Event
The BlackBerry 10 release date should be coming soon as RIM sent out invites to an event aimed at promoting it this week.
The company is expected to give the general public a first look at BlackBerry 10 at the event scheduled for Jan. 30. It will be held on Pier 36 in New York City and RIM's tagline in the invite is "Re-designed, Re-engineered, and Re-invented.
RIM first announced that it would be launching BlackBerry 10 on Jan. 30 last month after experiencing constant delays and issues with it.

BlackBerry 10 is RIM's last real hope to catapult its line of smartphones back to the forefront of the market that is currently dominated by Apple and Android.
RIM's market share has been on the decline for quite some time, so the company has been working extremely hard to make BlackBerry 10 as efficient as possible.
Back in October, the company announced that it started carrier testing, which indicated that progress was being made.
RIM also made another announcement earlier today stating that it plans to release a BlackBerry 10 Technical Preview program, which will give government and enterprise customers a chance to beta test the operating system.
The company is expected to unveil the new feature on the BlackBerry 10 called "Notebooks," which is described as a "folder-like object that contains notebook entries." The operating system will also feature improvements on other applications such as email, contacts and calendars.
The Blackberry 10 was originally scheduled to launch in the spring of last year, but was delayed twice, with RIM eventually announcing that it would not be released until 2013.
The OS seems like it could be RIM's ace-in-the-hole.
