Blake Lively Says No to Nudity: Too Distracting and 'Not Right,' Says Actress
Blake Lively has stating that nude scenes are nothing but a "distraction" and not for her.
The "Gossip Girls" actress, whose career has picked up over the past few years, has grown a large reputation for her good looks. There would be no shortage of people lining up to see the actress in a nude scene, but according to Lively, that sort of thing is just not for her.
"When I see nudity in movies, I am always distracted by it," Lively, 24, was quoted by Mail Online. "I know that if I am watching a scene and someone has their boobs out, then that's all I'm looking at- I can't help it. I just don't think that will ever be right for me."
The actress also stated the she was unwilling to put in the extra effort to always have a consistently perfect body.
"I am terrible; I don't do any exercise- I'm going to have to learn the hard way," the star told Style magazine. "I love food too much, and my family is from the South, so the food I like is not necessarily the best for you."
Instead, when the actress feels the need to lose some weight, she decides to binge on quinoa- a gluten free grain pseudo-cereal- for a week.
"There are days when I will be like, 'Oh my goodness, I am not happy with the way I look because I cannot fit into any of my clothes,'" the star admitted. "So I eat quinoa that week, and then I feel good."
She also depends on her close friends to be honest and admit when she does not look good.
"I need good friends who can say, 'I love you to death, but you look terrible in that and you need to change right now,'" the star revealed.
