Blue Ivy Turns 2: Did Beyonce and Jay Z Buy Her a $75,000 Horse?

Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly gave their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter a $75,000 horse for her birthday on Jan. 7.

The Hollywood couple, who are renowned for buying lavish gifts, are believed to have purchased the "full blooded Arabian" horse after baby Blue expressed interest in ponies. Arabian horses boast a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage.

"Blue loves animals and expressed interest in having a horse ... so they bought her one," a source told MediaTakeOut.com adding that it is a "full-blooded Arabian, suitable for competing in equestrian."

Beyonce took to her personal Tumblr page on Monday where she shared various snapshots of birthday messages from fans who kindly wished Blue well on her 2nd birthday.

"Happy Birthday Miss Carter!" the singer wrote across the collection of snaps.

Blue may still be learning how to speak, but she recently surprised fans with her vocals after being featured on her Grammy award-winning mother's new song "Blue."

The iconic pop star dropped her self-titled "visual album" in mid-December and it features 14 new songs and 17 music videos. Fans get to see the mommy-daughter duo sharing intimate moments in "Blue," which was filmed in Brazil.

By the end of the 4:35-minute video a baby voice emerges singing a part of the hook, which many fans have assumed belongs to Beyonce's 2-year-old baby girl.

The toddler is seen playing with toys and flipping through a children's book as her famous mother dotingly watches on.

"She's my road dog, She's my homey, my best friend," Beyonce once told Vogue about her and Jay Z's only child.

"I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more. Family has always been important. I've always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it's just ... Life is so much more than ... It's not defined by any of this," she explained.
