Bobbi Kristina Considered Suicidal, Bobby Brown Comes to Aide
Following the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina was immediately hospitalized and is now being considered suicidal. Her father Bobby Brown has now rushed to her side.
Initial reports rumored that Bobbi Kristina discovered her mother's body in a Beverly Hills hotel bath tub Saturday. Other reports state that she was in the hotel lobby when her mother was pronounced dead. Since the announcement, she has been rushed to the hospital twice. Following her second trip to the hospital, family members began to feel concerned that the 18-year-old girl may be suicidal.
The teenager was first rushed to the hospital after she had consumed alcohol and then taken a sedative, that Mail Online reports was offered to her by a member of "her mother's entourage to calm her down" after she had heard the devastating news. She was then reportedly taken to the hospital again Sunday morning. Pictures were released of the girl being taken by emergency service members from the hotel where her mother passed, on a stretcher.
Mail Online reported the Houston's body was actually discovered by her body guard under bath water, with empty pill bottles scattered over the floor. Although an autopsy report for the singer has been completed, the results have yet to be released and could be held until a toxicology report has also been conducted, which could take six to eight weeks.
A source told People magazine added details to the discovery of Houston's body. "Houston was found partially submerged in the bathtub of her room," the source said. "[Bobbi Kristina] was screaming, 'What's wrong with her? What's wrong with her?" the source added.
The Celebrity Cafe reported that Bobby Brown has now come to his daughter's aid. "Brown decided to leave the tour with New Edition because of 'his love for his daughter and his daughter being in the hospital. He wants to go be with his daughter,'" the site stated.
