Bonnaroo Music Festival was created by Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment in 2002. The event is held at Great Stage Park on a 700-acre farm. Fans can participate in various activities in tents set up, such as a silent disco, a cinema tent, and food as well as shopping provide a fun way to pass the time between musical performances.

In 2008 Bonnaroo earned praise from Rolling Stone magazine which named the event "Best Festival" and described it as "the ultimate over-the-top festival." The magazine also credited Bonnaroo as one of "50 moments that changed rock & roll" after last year's festival.

Past notable acts include Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Kanye West, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, and Nine Inch Nails, among many more.
