Brandi Glanville Fires Assistant After Dog, Chica, Goes Missing

After Brandi Glanville's dog was stolen, the mystery of the lost pooched shocked the local community, but now the blame has shifted to her assistant.

Glanville fired her 23-year-old personal assistant after her Chihuahua, Chica, went missing from her home. The "Real Housewives" star reportedly fired her assistant via text message, according to entertainment website TMZ.

"I no longer work for Brandi. She texted me [Saturday] saying that I didn't do my job by losing the dog," the assistant, who did not wish to be named, told TMZ.

Previous reports indicated that Glanville's house was burglarized while she was out of town and that is when it is thought that the dog went missing. Glanville was desperately trying to recover her pooch and solicited the help of Twitter users to find the lost canine.

"I will give anyone who finds my dog chica in Bel air, La, Encino area 10 thousand dollars. Please please. She has a collar call me!" Glanville posted on her Twitter account June 7.

"My house was broken into one of my dogs is missing people R calling pretending 2 have her. This is devistating-I will pay money give her back," another post stated.

Her assistant is maintaining her innocence and said she did everything possible to prevent the burglary including locking the doors and making all the windows were shut, but that was not enough for the assistant who lost the dog on her watch.

Glanville however, is sticking by her decision by insisting that the breach of trust is more than what can be overcome.

"I did what I had to do. If I can't trust her with my dogs, how can I trust her with my kids?" Glanville posted.

The "Real Housewives" starlet also added that the assistant's last two weeks of wages would be sent to her.
