Britney Spears & Jason Trawick Plan Simple Country Wedding (VIDEO)
Britney Spears is now considering plans for her future wedding, after becoming engaged to Jason Trawick over the Christmas holidays.
The 30-year-old pop singer, whose two previous weddings had become more of a public event, has decided that this wedding will be a “low-key event” a close family source reported to Hollywood Gossip.
The source said, “She wants a traditional Southern-style wedding with comfort food, surrounded by her family, her two sons and all of her childhood friends."
Spears is also debating over who will make the dress. An insider reported to More magazine that she’s considering asking one of her favorite designers, Betsy Johnson or Jeremy Scott. The source also added details about Spear’s plans to get into shape and look fit for the big day.
Spears started her career in the “Mickey Mouse Club” before releasing international hits “Baby, One More Time” and “Oops!...I Did It Again” on her debut album during the late 1990s.
She was later the source of ridicule after she became engaged to and married back-up dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she has two kids. The divorce was later highly publicized due to the ensuing custody battle and many controversial actions by Spears.
Federline told People magazine in a recent interview that he was glad to leave past issues behind and thought Trawick was a “great guy”. He said, “The kids speak highly of him. Her family loves him."
Trawick started as her agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. The couple began dating in 2009 and officially announced their union by showing up to the 2010 Grammy Awards hand in hand.
In April, Spears described her relationship with Warwick to US Weekly. "We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves,” she said. The couple has yet to announce a wedding date.
