Building 429's 'We Won't Be Shaken' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Charts
Building 429's newest album, We Won't Be Shaken has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian albums chart and No. 53 on the Billboard top 200.
The band's release is their sixth album off of Essential Records, and their first album to reach No. 1.
The latest album nearly doubled the sales of their last, Listen to the Sound, in its first week. The title track and first single has already received over 57-million impressions after only being on the radio for three months, according to Bozeman Media.
"Building 429 is one of the hardest working bands in our business and to see them reach No. 1 for the first time on the Billboard Contemporary Christian Chart is a proud moment for all of us at Provident," says Vice President of Sales at Provident Label Group, Jimmy Wheeler. "The entire team is privileged to work with this band and we believe this is just the beginning of bigger things to come."
Building 429 was recently part of K-LOVE's first fan awards where they were nominated for two awards, Song of the Year, and Breakout Artist of the Year, and had a much talked about performance of "Where I Belong," according to those in attendance.
The band will be touring this summer at major festivals and on Moddy's national radio show, Chris Fabry Live!
Worship Leader Magazine has heralded We Won't Be Shaken as a masterfully written and produced album that listeners will love.
The album has already received praise on SiriusXM, Grammy.com, All Music Guide, CBN.org, and television morning shows.
The band won the GMA New Artist of the Year award in 2005.
