Camille Grammer Phone Threats Explained
Camille Grammer of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has explained the phone threats to her boyfriend's ex, made public earlier this week.
The former reality television star was involved in a verbal dispute over the telephone with Dimitri Charalambopoulos' ex girlfriend, Lisa Chynoweth. Charalambopoulos and Chynoweth share 5-year-old Marcus.
The ongoing custody dispute between the couple resulted in Grammer telling Chynoweth that if the child custody hearing did not go well, the "Real Housewives" star would hire "defamation lawyers" and "ruin" Chynoweth's life.
"If you go to the press, I have lawyers that are beyond what you can imagine and they will pull stuff on you and you will be so mortified about your life and your family and what you have done," said Grammer during the tape recording, first reported by RadarOnline. "You don't want to do that to Marcus."
Defending herself, Grammer, recently divorced from actor Kelsey Grammer, claimed her threats were only a retaliation of threats from Chynoweth.
"My comments were a rebuttal to threats by her- four hours of threats by her," said Grammer, reported RadarOnline. "I was telling her you can't use your son as a weapon."
After just recently settling a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, Grammar speaks from experience. The 43-year-old was married to Kelsey Grammar for 14 years and they share two children together.
Grammar made headlines earlier this week, saying her life is taking a new direction and that she was quitting Bravo's reality series. After announcing that she would not be returning to the next season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Grammer explained that she no longer wanted her personal life made public.
"I didn't want to expose my personal life so much anymore," said the former model in a statement last week. "I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my family and children and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now."
