Charlize Theron Spoof Tape: April Fools' or Foolish Prank?

Charlize Theron, who recently just adopted a son, has released a fake sex tape, promoting it as an April Fools' joke.

It was announced in March that Charlize Theron had just adopted her first child from South Africa. However, despite her new role as a mother, the 36 year-old actress failed to fall under the "good role model" title after attempting to pull off an April Fools prank.

Theron, who has also served as an activist for women's rights, released a sex-tape over the weekend that was meant to poke fun at celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, who became known after similar tapes of them were leaked to the public. While the video was meant to be a prank, it also appeared to be the less appropriate thing for the new mother to attempt.

The video depicts Theron talking seductively to the camera, in the backdrop of what appears to be more bizarre than humorous. Two men are revealed in bondage costumes while Theron speaks about what she will do.

In an interview last year with Piers Morgan on CNN, Theron also commented that marriage was "never something that was important" despite her desire to have children, denying that her views had anything to do with her parent's failed marriage.

"Some would say because I came from a very troubled marriage," she told CNN. "My parents did not have a good marriage, but I don't think it's that."

The spoof sex tape was posted on the Funny or Die website. Fans of the site had mixed reactions to the attempt April Fools'.

"She's amazing," Megan Young commented on the blog site. Others were more skeptical.

"Whoa, she is outta control!" Eddie Kim commented. Many others appeared to be confusing, asking "What was that?"

"I think i can comment exactly what everybody is thinking in one word: WHAT?" Jackson Falconer-Rosenberg stated.
