Chris Brown Reprimanded by Lawyer, Ordered to Stay on Supervised Probation
Chris Brown was reprimanded by his lawyer at a progress hearing on Thursday stemming from his 2009 physical altercation with off-and-on again flame Rihanna.
Brown reported to the hearing where his community service hours were discussed along with an upcoming world tour. When Brown tried to speak up after the Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg inquired about his world tour, his lawyer Mark Geragos reprimanded him in the courtroom, according to TMZ reports.
"You don't talk," Brown's lawyer told him after the 23-year-old singer raised his hand to respond to the judge's inquiry. "I don't dance, you don't talk."

While Brown found himself smiling and obeying his lawyer's command, the judge in the courtroom seemed to provide comedic relief in the situation by saying, "We would like to see you dance, Mr. Geragos."
Schnegg decided to continue Brown's supervised probation stemming from his 2009 felony assault and must make another court appearance after his overseas tour. The tour is scheduled to begin on Nov. 14, when Brown will begin to perform in several countries in Europe and South Africa.
While he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 17, The Huffington Post reports that a probation officer said Brown "appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation."
In a recent appearance on MTV's "This is How I Made It" Brown admitted that it has been a trying process to overcome negative public opinion and rebuild his brand after his public felony assault against Rihanna.
"Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back, you know, it's not all the way back you know. But it's one of my most humbling experiences," he said on the MTV show. "My story or my life or my legacy can hopefully show them that once you're down, that don't just mean you're down forever. You never let up."
