Christina Aguilera Fines for 'The Voice' May Be Increased
Smaller Fines Did Not Help Stop Aguilera's Tardiness, Source Claims
Christina Aguilera has reportedly faced consistent fines while fulfilling her duties as a coach and judge on hit TV show "The Voice." Aguilera allegedly has repeatedly been late on set, and it has not been unusual for her to turn up two hours after her scheduled start time.
Some are now suggesting that Aguilera was simply ignoring the fines being handed out to her and that they in no way helped to correct her tardiness. It is now being reported that show bosses are thinking to increase the fine levels for persistent lateness from their stars in an effort to not allow the behavior to continue in future series.
Some have even questioned in recent days whether Aguilera will even be appearing in the next season of The Voice, but it is now thought that she is likely to return, but NBC bosses will just try to reign on her tardy habits.
A source has said, "Christina is consistently about two hours late. For season three this has got to stop," according to Radar Online.
The source reportedly continued: "Whatever her fine is now doesn't bother her. She has so much money she probably doesn't notice.
"Higher-ups on the show want to raise it to a number that does bother her so she actually arrives on time."
Aguilera has been under attack over recent days through various media reports, with some saying many of the crew on set cannot stand her diva attitude. Others are now reporting that her fellow coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton have also found her hard to deal with. Especially when it comes to her alleged late behavior some have said she has shown a lack of respect to others working on the hit show.
The source said to RadarOnline: "They can't stand how late she is. They know she's a girl and she takes longer to get ready, but this is ridiculous. And when she gets to set she still has to go through hair and makeup."
