Courtney Love Apologizes to Daughter on Twitter for 'Believing Gossip'
Courtney Love has come out and publically apologized to her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, after posting on her Twitter account that the Foo Fighters' front man, Dave Grohl, was trying seducing the teenager.
The dust up started when the Hole singer took to Twitter and posted a series of tweets stating that she had inside sources that tipped her off to Grohl's antics.
Last week, Love posted the tweets to her private account, @cbabymichelle, which is separate from her public Twitter account, @Courtney, which is Love's official Twitter profile, according to reports from Gawker magazine.
Love tweeted that Grohl had tried to seduce her 19-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, who is the daughter of late Nirvana Singer Kurt Cobain.
There has been a long feud between Love and Grohl since the days they knew each other through Nirvana. Love later declared that Grohl is "sexually obsessed" with Kurt, which is why he was trying to seduce Frances.
Love posted several tweets on her private account that described that she had credible sources to believe that the two had a relationship.
"I heard from Frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead," Love wrote on Twitter.
Cobain denied the claims made by her mother and issued this statement through her publicist.
"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous
relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother," wrote the teenager.
Love responded to her daughter's comments by posting her response once again on twitter, "Bean sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you."
Bean is currently dating and is rumored to be engaged to Rambles front man Isaiah Silva.
