Dancing With the Stars Elimination Results: NBA Player First Athlete to Fall at Week 1
The first contestant to be voted off the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars is NBA player Ron Artest.
Artest, also known as Metta World Peace, scored the lowest points, along with TV host Nancy Grace and Rob Kardashian.
Artest is the first athlete to be eliminated in the first week of the show, scoring a lowly 14 out of 30 points.
According to the judges, the best performances on Monday night’s dance off were as follows.
Chynna Phillips and Tony Davolani: 22
J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff: 22
Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkoviskiy: 21
Ricki Lake and Derek Hough: 20
Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas: 19
David Arquette and Kym Johnson: 18
Carson Kressly and Anna Trebunskaya: 17
Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer: 17
Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus: 16
Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke: 16
Elisabetta Canalis and Val Chmerkovskiy: 15
Ron Artest and Petra Murgatroyd: 14
Upon hearing the result, he smile and hugged his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd.
“Peta was great,” he said. He then shouted, “Yeah! Yeah!”
After a round of applause he added, “I had a great time.”
The remaining celebrity contestants are Actress and former TV talk show host Ricki Lake, actor David Arquette, author and activist Chaz Bono, model and actress Elisabetta Canalis, TV star Kristin Cavallari , Grace, reality TV personality Rob Kardashian, fashion guru Carson Kressley, Iraq war veteran actor J.R. Martinez, singer Chynna Phillips and women’s soccer World Cup star Hope Solo.
The ousted contestants will appear on “Good Morning America” tomorrow morning.
