Dancing With the Stars Season 13 Elimination: Who Was Eliminated First?
Ron Artest has become the first act to be eliminated from Series 13 of Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday evening in a predictable result following Monday's low score.
From Monday night’s dance, Artest only managed to score 14 points out of a possible 30, after completing the cha cha with partner Peta Murgatroyd.
From that moment on Artest was always one of the favorites to be booted off the show.
Also nervous on the night was Elisabetta Canalis who only managed one point more than Artest after the judges’ votes on Monday evening.
Joining Artest in the bottom on Tuesday’s show was Nancy Grace.
Each star contender was introduced along with their professional dance partner before the live voting results were announced. Preceding the first elimination of the season, the audience was able to get an in-depth look at this season’s cast.
When the news was delivered to Artest he took it well. He was referred to by his new name, “Metta,” as he was eliminated. Artest immediately threw his arms up in the air with an air of acceptance and smiled.
"Who's coming with me?" he asked the crowd. "Everybody give a round of applause to Peta – she was awesome!"
Artest was interviewed after his elimination and he testified: “I had a great, great time.”
