The "Dancing with the Stars" finale continues tonight with the last three remaining couples returning to the ballroom before the season 18 champion is named. The winner of Dancing With the Stars Season 18 will be revealed here at 10 p.m. ET. Stayed tuned to find out who won!

The finalists include Amy Purdy and her professional dance partner Derek Hough; Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas; and Meryl Davis and pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Before the champion is crowned, here is a recap of each contestant's season on "DWTS."

Firstly, Purdy and "DWTS" pro Hough have remained among the highest-scoring and most popular contestants on ABC's dancing reality series all season. The 34-year-old Paralympic snowboarder has impressed fans as well as the "DWTS" judges all season with her upbeat attitude and work ethic, despite an injury during Week 8's "Latin Night."

"So, looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm," Purdy posted to Twitter at the time. "I am being proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey."

Fortunately, after asking fans to "please keep the positive healing thoughts coming," the athlete and Hough have made it to the "DWTS" finals tonight.Watch her performance during Monday's show here.

Also among season 18's top favorite contestants on "DWTS" are finalists Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas. The "Full House" star and Ballas, a previous "DWTS" champ, were able to stay in the race despite a serious mishap earlier this week.

"[Mark's] shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital," the spokesperson said on Sunday, May 18, according to Us magazine. "He was treated and released but, it remains unclear whether he'll be able to perform on Monday's show."

Nevertheless, Cameron Bure and Ballas have made it to Tuesday's finals, with Ballas promising fans on Twitter, "Hey y'all. I'm doing alright, thanks for the love." Watch their performance from Monday night here.

Lastly, Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have led the way with some of the season's highest scores. Their sophisticated dances are known for dazzling acrobatics and smooth lines, making the duo main contenders for the season 18 mirrorball trophy. Davis, a 27-year-old Olympic silver medalist ice dancer, took to Twitter ahead of Tuesday's finale.

"I have so very much to be grateful for," she wrote. "Hard to believe this journey is coming to an end. To have shared this experience with @maksimc has been a true privilege. Thank you all for the support!"

The two-hour season 18 finale will feature each of the 12 couples from season 18 returning to the ballroom for an exciting opening number. This includes James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd who were just eliminated during Monday's performance episode. Also returning will be Nene Leakes, Danica McKellar, Drew Carey, and Charlie White.

Furthermore, one of the three remaining couples will perform an encore of their Freestyle routine, decided by fans on Twitter. The finale will also see Team Loca perform LIVE to "Livin' La Vida Loca," which is the performance cancelled during Latin Night when Amy Purdy was injured.

Tuesday's show will also see the first ever dance between Olympic partners Meryl David and Charlie White, as well as the three remaining couples performing a new routine as part of the "24 Hour Fusion Challenge." Musical guests for Tuesday include previous "DWTS" contestant Amber Riley, Christina Perri, Iggy Azalea, Cody Simpson and Ariana Grande.

"DWTS" will air Tuesday on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
