Daniela Ruah Pregnant, 'NCIS' Star's First Child
Daniela Ruah of "NCIS" is pregnant with her first child, according to reports on Monday.
The 29-year-old actress is best known for portraying Special Agent Kensi Blye on CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles."
It was on the set of the television series that Ruah met her fiancé, David Olsen, who is a stunt double on the show.
On Monday, the actress confirmed that not only was she expecting her first child with Olsen, but that they were having a boy.
"I'm so thrilled about having a baby boy and starting a new chapter as a parent with David," she said, according to People.com.
"It's amazing how in love I am with this little person I've only seen on a black and white screen," she added. "I'm starting my own family and there is no other feeling like it."
The actress is due this winter.
Olsen, 38, is a former Navy SEAL and a stunt double on "NCIS" for his younger brother, Eric Christian Olsen, who stars on the show.
Meanwhile, the pregnancy is not the only news to hit the set of "NCIS" recently; Cote de Pablo will not be returning to the drama as many fans had hoped.
Instead, her character Ziva David will be written off of the series in a fitting manner, but with the opportunity for her return.
"We offered Cote de Pablo a lot of money, and they we offered her even more money," said CBS president Leslie Moonves speaking to the press. "We really don't want to lose her, we love her; we think she was terrific. Ultimately, she decided she didn't want to do the show."
The actress had been with "NCIS" for eight seasons. The next season of the show premieres on CBS on Sept. 24.
