Demi Moore Less 'Tense' Since Divorce Became Official
Despite a very public divorce saga, Demi Moore is apparently doing well and has moved on with the part of her life concerning soon to be ex-husband Ashton Kutcher.
After two months of speculation and silence, Moore recently announced she and Kutcher will be divorcing.
A source told the Chicago Sun-Times that Demi seems to be less 'tense' now since admitting the marriage is over.
"I do think she's moved on, which I guess I find a bit surprising, but [I'm] happy for her… It's like a huge weight has been lifted off her shoulders. She isn't as tense and clearly unhappy like she was all summer," the source said.
Adding, "Demi obviously still has a way to go and still can get a bit weepy from time to time, but she is doing much better than I would have expected at this early stage."
She stated, "Demi needs a man in her life. She's a very dynamic, very sexual woman, and she has to have a guy around. It's not that she's needy. It's just she enjoys being in a healthy, active relationship with someone she loves."
Just this past Saturday, Moore's daughter, Tallulah Willis, became a member of high society living when she entered the annual Le Bal des Débutantes at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris.
Tallulah celebrated with her sisters Scout and Rumer, and her father, Bruce Willis. Moore was not present, likely due to her divorce proceedings with Kutcher.
Last week TMZ learned from a source, that Kutcher bought an eco-friendly car, a 2012 Lexus LS 600h L, costing an estimated $100,000.
Making the purchase on Nov. 9, it was two days before Moore's birthday.
It is unknown if the actress accepted the gift or not, but it didn't persuade her to not divorce.
Kutcher and Moore each released statements regarding their divorce, with Kutcher Tweeting, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”
Moore released a statement saying, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain valued and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation."
