Detroit Abducted Body Belongs to Abducted 20-Year-Old Brenna Machus (VIDEO)
The body of a woman was discovered near a Detroit discount store where a 20-year-old woman was abducted on Monday.
Police believe they have identified a body discovered in a wooded area just two miles from a Family Dollar in Dearborn, Michigan as Brenna Machus. Machus disappeared from the store on Monday following an apparent robbery. Her co-worker, Joseph Orlando, who is also 20, was found shot to death in the store.
Video surveillance has revealed the suspect entering the store in a hoodie and waving at the camera. He is wearing dark clothes according to reports but his face cannot be seen. Authorities hope that someone might be able to identify his walk. They have asked any tipsters with information to come forward.

Motive for the attack is still unknown. Dearborn Police Lt. Douglas Topolski said the body, found with clothes similar to what Machus was wearing, was confirmed to be the missing worker but specifics have not been released, according to USA Today. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday at the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office, a spokeswoman for the county told the news source.
Machus' father said he and his family were struggling to deal with the loss.
"It's more like a walking nightmare," her father, Kenneth "Jamie" Machus, Jr. told USA Today after learning that his daughter's body had been identified. "That's the best way for me to describe" the situation, he added.
Machus' brother told the Detroit Free Press that his sister's dream was to become a crime scene investigator.
"Brenna is one of the sweetest, most caring people that you would be," Ryan Machus said.
Candles were set up outside the store as a memorial while the business remained closed on Thursday. Machus had worked at the Family Dollar for over a year in different locations. Orlando was hired last week.
