DiCaprio Selling Home, Ex Girlfriend Moving On
Leonardo DiCaprio has decided to sell his Malibu home just days after his reported split from Erin Heatherton this week.
While the home has just been remodeled and features a beach-front deck, lavish grounds, and a guest home, DiCaprio is ready to sell.
The 37-year-old actor paid $6 million for the seven-bedroom, 6-and-a-half bathroom property in 2002, and is selling it on the market for $23 million today, reported AZ Central.
Ahead of his decision to sell the home, DiCaprio offered it to renters over the summer.
"DiCaprio just completed a beautiful remodel in time for summer and is now ready to lease the home out to someone who wants a temporary taste of how the stars live," read one advertisement via the Daily Mail. "Unique to a home right on the water, DiCaprio's home has beautiful gardens and lawns. Consider it a beach-front luxury compound!"
A fire pit, lawn area, and separate gardens accompany the 2,633 square-foot property on Malibu Colony Road.
The actor has another home located in Malibu, as well as a new eco-friendly penthouse in New York City's Battery Park.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio continues to work on his latest film "The Wolf on Wall Street."
As one of the highest-paid and well-liked actors in Hollywood, DiCaprio's love life often makes headlines. His recent split from Victoria's Secret model Heatherton was no exception.
The "Inception" star reportedly ended the 10-month relationship with Heatherton, 23, because he was unwilling to settle down, according to the Daily Mail.
Despite her break up, Heatherton appeared in good spirits during Wednesday's Victoria's Secret fashion show in New York City.
"I [am] having the best time right now," said the model speaking to E! News backstage. "I couldn't feel more beautiful with all my friends. It's wonderful."
Moreover, the newly-single blonde named qualities she finds most attractive in men.
"A big heart, sense of humor, and just being real, honestly," Heatherton told E! News.
