Do Non-Discrimination Policies Justify Transgender Perversion?
How did it come to this? A non-discrimination policy at Evergreen State College in Washington is allowing a 45-year-old male student to expose himself inside a women's locker room. Never mind the fact that teenage girls and even young children have shared that locker room with him.
What gives this man the right to commit this indecent act against children? Well....he is a transgender man....that's it. That is his defense. He calls himself a woman, but he has all the male parts in tact. His terminology is what he relies upon to get inside that locker room. This self-proclaimed description of himself has been enough for the college and the local district attorney to back off. This is a perversion of nature, and of any reasonable measure of decency and propriety.
Has it really come to this in America? Are these acts of perversion truly justified by a man-made policy?
Should a man be allowed to expose himself to little girls, teenagers, and adult women just because he uses "woman" as his title? How many other men will now attempt the same thing in an effort to parade around naked in the women's locker room? Why should "perverted rights" take precedence over the rights of those who are behaving with modesty and integrity?
Our hearts should go out to anyone who has fallen into the delusion that he is a woman....or that she is a man. They need our prayers....and professional Christian counseling....and the truth. They don't need to be given a locker room where they are allowed to expose themselves to people of the opposite sex.
We know that part of man's sinful nature involves a confusion about God's plan of sexuality for men and women. Some individuals have deep struggles in this area, and their confusion is not something that will be easily corrected. Society does those individuals no service by promoting their immoral behavior....and some officials across our land commit horrendous offenses by implementing non-discrimination policies which leave children and teens unprotected.
No one in their right mind should ever promote and support what has gone on at Evergreen State College. David Hacker is senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom. He said, "What Americans are seeing here is the poisoned fruit of so-called 'non-discrimination' laws and policies."
When we remove the boundary lines which God established, all bets are off. There is no telling how many abominations will be advanced in the name of "tolerance" and "fairness." This is especially true when it comes to the boundary lines of marriage between a man and a women. We are watching our country unravel in the area of "sexual sanity." When we step outside of God's boundaries, we lose all sense of right and wrong. We have only seen a glimpse of this poisoned fruit, and much more is on the way unless we halt this insanity in its tracks.
It's not only insane....it is evil. Just think about this example at the college in Washington for a moment. Now think back 50 years ago in America....and 100 years ago....and 200 years ago. Indecencies which would never have even been mentioned out loud back then are now being given protected status. That is what happens when you remove the boundary lines which God established and allow each one to define "truth" for himself.
One man's "truth" convinces him that he should be able to expose himself in front of girls and women. That is his "transgender truth." That is his excuse. That is his rationale. Once you take away "right" and "wrong," this is what you get. And you end up with policy makers who don't even see how inappropriate their policies have become. They have been seduced by the deadly ideology which forbids you to refer to someone's personal gender choices as being wrong.
Jerry Sandusky lived out his sexual fantasies in a locker room at Penn State University. Jerry seemed to have no boundaries for himself. On the other side of the country, a 45-year old man in Washington simply calls himself a woman....and presto, he gets away with evil acts against children. Why isn't he being locked up behind bars like Sandusky? Because the college and the district attorney don't seem to have any boundaries which they can point to in this situation. What happened to those boundaries? They were removed in the name of "non-discrimination."
When men do whatever they feel like doing, children suffer. When women do whatever they feel like doing, children suffer. When our nation was founded, the boundaries which God gave us were understood by virtually everyone there. John Adams was our second President, and he said: "Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited....What a Eutopia - what a Paradise would this region be....I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world."
John Adams was also a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and one of two signers of the Bill of Rights. He said, "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
Do you catch that? Human passions unbridled by morality and religion will lead to our nation's demise. It has been that way with many nations which have come and gone before us. We are witnessing the evolution of it in America today. If we only fix our economic problems without also addressing the abyss of sexual immorality in our land, we will continue this downward spiral.
If the founders of our nation had been told that one day, colleges would protect the "rights" of men who pretend to be women and who walk around naked with girls in their presence....can you imagine the sick feeling our founders would have experienced? What would they think if they heard about these "non-discrimation" policies? And why don't more Americans today think the way they did back then concerning sexual ethics?
The answer is simple. We have gotten away from the Bible as a nation. We have wandered into the desert of humanistic philosophy. We have allowed it to replace our allegiance to the Bible. God's Word is what made America a great nation....and it is God's Word which can make us even better in the future. Our nation has not been perfect to be sure....but the Scriptures have freed us in the past from our errors that were being committed....and the Scriptures will continue to be our guiding light and will liberate us from perverse policies....if we repent and return to the God of the universe and to His Word.
Otherwise, it will only get worse in America....and the corrupt nature of man's sinfulness will go unbridled to promote things which we can barely imagine right now.
How did it come to this? And how far are we going to allow it to go before we come to our senses?
