Droid 4 Release Date: Specifications and Pictures Leak
Droid-Life recently leaked pictures and specifications of Motorola’s Droid4 smartphone that it received from industry insiders.
“Keyboard lovers, get ready- the DROID4 by Motorola is coming and according to our sources, has the best slide out they have “ever seen on a smartphone,” wrote the technology website.
“In this set of glamour shots we received, you can get a taste for what’s to come which means ultra-thin slider with Droid Razr styling and wait for it…4G LTE. You asked for it and Moto appears to have made it.”
Droid-Life also received some information regarding the specifications on the new device. The device is expected to sport a 4-inch screen with a full five-row illuminated keyboard that slides out from behind the screen.
It will also have Razr styling, 4G LTE, non-removable battery, and a HDMI output.
It is set to run on Android 2.3.5 with a 1080p and MotoACTV synchronizing.
“No word yet on processor, but will bet that it has at least the 1.2GHz OMAP4430 that the Razr has,” Droid-Life said.
These types are leaks are common among Droid phones, according to 9to5Google.
“As is usually the case, the next Droid leaks have started months before any product is released,” wrote 9to5Google concerning the specs and pictures surfacing on the Internet.
The technology website also advised Android fans not to waste time with the predecessor since the specifications on the new one were “incredibly impressive.”
“So impressive that those Droid 3s now selling in stores are looking like a waste of time and money.”
