Droid Razr M Now Available in Pink For Verizon Customers

The Droid Razr M is now available in pink through Verizon.

The carrier began offering the different color variant of the handset this week and also has the Nokia Lumia 822 in red. Customers can also still purchase the Droid Razr M in the traditional white and black colors it launched with last year.

The device was unveiled by Motorola last year at a media event alongside the Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD.

The Razr M features similar specs except it comes with a smaller display at 4.3-inches. It comes with the same dual-core processor found in the Razr HD and features 40 percent more screen size than the iPhone 4S. It also has Android 4.1, JellyBean pre-installed and is moderately priced at $99 with a new 2-year- agreement.

All three of these Motorola smartphones have impressive hardware under the hood including a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p HD recording.

The Droid Razr M is a Verizon exclusive and is not available on any other carrier.

.Verizon also announced the Samsung Ativ Odyssey this week. This is a Windows device that retails for $50 on contract and is available today.

Verizon customers will be able to purchase these new handsets online and at the company's retail locations.

The carrier also recently reported that it activated 9.8 million smartphones during Q4 2013 and stated that nearly two-thirds of those were iPhones. Only half of those Apple smartphones were iPhone 5s.

About 23 percent of all Verizon devices sold during Q4 of 2012 were LTE compatible and the carrier has also halted adding any more smartphones to its 3G lineup in hopes of growing its 4G LTE network.
