Election 2020: What do the final polls before Election Day predict?
FiveThirtyEight
The election polling site FiveThirtyEight took an average of national polls regarding the race between Biden and Trump, with the former yet again polling stronger than the latter.
In numbers posted on Monday, the website found that Biden is leading with 51.9% to Trump’s 43.5%, a difference of 8.4 percentage points.
Biden has been in the lead on FiveThirtyEight’s tracking of national polls since March. At that time, the Democratic challenger was ahead of his Republican opponent by 3.8 percentage points.
However, the current lead Biden has over Trump is less than it was two weeks ago when the former vice president had a lead of 10.7 percentage points over the current president.
