England is set make numerous changes for this international friendly from its team that last took to the field in their World Cup Qualifier.

According to reports manager Roy Hodgson will be giving young Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling his England debut. Sterling is just 17 years 342 days old and would be come England's fifth youngest England player in history.

Other young England debutants include Theo Walcott who first played against Hungary in May 2006 when he was just 17 years and 75 days old, and Wayne Rooney who was just 17 years and 111 days old when he played against Australia in February 2003.

Steven Gerrard will be winning his 100th England cap in today's game, and has come through a knee injury successfully to be fit for today's friendly. He will become only the sixth English player to make the landmark 100 caps mark.

England's most capped player of all time is goalkeeper Peter Shilton who previously achieved the mark of 125 caps. He is followed by David Beckham who managed to claim 115 caps before dropping out of the England international reckoning.

England and Sweden have played each other a lot in recent years, and England also formerly had Swede Sven Goran Eriksson as their manager.

England will be hoping to continue their winning habit after doing reasonably well in their World Cup Qualifying campaign so far.

Sweden will also want to maintain momentum having claimed a great result recently against Germany in their World Cup Qualifying group. They were 4-0 down to the Germans in Berlin, when a second half comeback sparked an amazing result which saw them finish the game 4-4.
