One of the biggest song contests in the world, the Eurovision 2016 will be airing its finals on May 14, at 9:00 p.m. CET or for the United States - 3 p.m. EDT and 12 p.m. PDT. The finals will be broadcasting live from the Globe Arena, in this year's host country, Stockholm, Sweden. According to a report in the official website of the competition, the show will be livestreamed via the Eurovision YouTube channel or through the website.

This year's song contest brings together 26 competitors representing 26 different countries from all over the European region. According to another report in Mirror UK, Sweden became this year's host after winning first place in the 2015 contest. Mans Zelmerlow, who sang the winning song "Heroes," is returning this year as one of the hosts for the semi-finals and the finals shows. Comedian Petra Mede, who is also a Swede, will be sharing the hosting duties with Mans.

The Mirror UK report cited that this year marks some changes in the voting system of the show, which gives more voting power to individuals from all over the region. This year, voting will be split, where the first to cast their votes are the juries for each country, after which votes from viewers in all the countries will be cast. Both types of votes are later combined and made public.
