Eva Longoria 'Wardrobe Malfunction'? Actress Laughs It Off
Eva Longoria experienced a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.
The "Desperate Housewives" star attended the screening for "Jimmy P. Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian" when she posed on the red carpet.
Due to rain, Longoria was forced to lift her dazzling green gown off the ground in order to avoid puddles. In doing so, Longoria exposed her legs.
The bedazzled Versace Atelier gown featured cutout shoulders, and an open back. As Longoria made her way to the theater, photographers snapped photos as she maneuvered through the rain.
Fortunately, the 38-year-old has a sense of humor, and posted a funny message to her Twitter followers the next day.
"Here's my dress for tonight," Longoria wrote, along with a snapshot of herself in a black gown. "No wardrobe malfunctions tonight!"
The film festival in the French Riviera is not the first time Longoria has experienced a fashion mishap.
Earlier this year, the actress accidentally revealed herself after wearing an ill-fitting gown at the Golden Globe Awards. Again, the Texas native laughed off the incident.
More recently, Longoria revealed a hardship of another kind. The actress opened up about coping with her divorce from Tony Parker two years ago. Overcome with sadness at the time, Longoria recounted that her health rapidly declined.
"I was not eating. I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee," the actress told Dr. Mehmet Oz on "The Dr. Oz Show."
"I didn't know I was depressed," Longoria added. "I mean, I knew it was a sad moment in my life, but I wouldn't categorize myself as depressed."
Finally, Longoria's lack of energy led her to seek a health professional.
"I went to the doctor to get some blood tests because I said something's wrong," Longoria continued. "And I was just depleted of every vitamin. He said it's as if somebody took a straw and sucked everything out of your body."
Ironically, the starlet revealed that at her thinnest was "the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny."
