Evelyn Lozada Headbutt Photos Surface After Chad Johnson Jail Release
Chad Johnson reignited debates about his recent recent jail sentence Tuesday after disturbing photographs of his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, surfaced online following his release.

The disgraced NFL player, 35, was granted an early release from jail Monday-- one week after a Florida judge sentenced him to serve 30-days for slapping his attorney on the backside in court. While critics like Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi initially questioned Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh's sentence, some changed their views after photos of Lozada's injuries went viral.

Lozada, who was headbutted by Johnson just weeks after their July 2012 wedding, is pictured with a three-inch laceration on her forehead in the never-before-seen images. Fans flocked to social networking site Twitter to weigh in on the alarming photos which were first published by TMZ.com.
"And people wonder y the judge reacted the way she did in court? Chad Johnson is an unapologetic wife beater the pics say it all!" Naomi tweeted.
"After seeing Ev's photos IMO Chad is lucky he only got 30-days! Get it together dude," Paul tweeted.
"Just saw Evelyn Lozada photos...how in the world did Chad only get 30 days? Its a joke to him," Kel tweeted.
Johnson, who was convicted of assaulting Lozada, initially appeared before Judge McHugh on June 10 for an alleged probation violation stemming from the domestic assault case. He playfully slapped his attorney, Adam Swickle, in court after the Judge to agreed to a "no jail" plea deal which prompted her to scrap it altogether and instead impose the 30-day jail sentence.
"I don't know that you're taking this whole thing seriously. I just saw you slap your attorney on the backside. Is there something funny about this?" McHugh said during the initial hearing while slapping the plea deal document down on her desk.
"The whole courtroom was laughing. I'm not going to accept these plea negotiations. This isn't a joke," she continued before sentencing Johnson to 30 days in jail.
Bondi openly questioned McHugh's ruling, which ultimately divided the public. Some applauded the sentence while others claimed it was too harsh.
"Although we never condone domestic violence, this event seems to question judicial temperament, not the subject matter before the court," Bondi reportedly told TMZ.
