She then posted a link to an OK! Magazine article detailing her birth experience.

"We can exclusively report that Evelyn and her fiance, Carl Crawford, welcomed a healthy baby boy on Saturday, 3/22 at 3:55 am MST. The baby's name hasn't been revealed yet, but he weighed in at 8lbs and is 21 inches long," the OK! article reads. "It was a natural birth. New dad Carl is so excited and so is mommy!"

She previously revealed she was praying for a baby boy 20 years after giving birth to her only other child, Shaniece.

"Surprisingly, I found out when I had my first trimester screening," Lozada previously told People magazine. "I was about 13 weeks when they told me the sex! I was honestly praying for a boy. I have wanted to have a son for years."

Although she has a great relationship with her daughter, Lozada previously spoke about handling anxiety that she had about bringing another child into the world.

"Okay, so we all know the last time I gave birth was over 20 years ago with my daughter Shaniece," Lozada wrote in a piece for the Latina website Que Mas! "A lot has changed in the world of babies since the last time I gave birth -- back then my daughter had a wind-up swing for crying out loud!"

Last year she opened up about the criticism that she may have received for giving birth at her age.

"I think that when God blesses you with a child, then that's the right time. And if people want to say I'm old, then hey that's fine," Lozada told omg! Insider last year. "It doesn't bother me. I think right now is the perfect time for me because um, I'm older and I feel like I can really enjoy this moment."
