Farrah Abraham Threatens Legal Action Over Alleged Sex Tape
"Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham is reportedly the star of a new, intimate video being shopped around by adult video companies. Abraham initially denied all claims that she was featured in the video but has now threatened to sue those involved with the video's distribution.
One viewer confirmed that Abraham was indeed in the rumored video, TMZ first reported, which is now being shopped around. It's unknown how the video came to be or who might be behind its sale. Abraham initially denied any and all ties to the videotape.
"I don't … exist … anything about that. I don't think there's any truth to that," Abraham said when initially confronted by TMZ reporters at Agent Provocateur in Los Angeles.
"If I had my own personal stuff, that's my own personal thing," she later told TMZ. "There should be no tape, and if they're shopping around, my lawyers (are) gonna talk about that."
"You know what, I think it's made up. People make (expletive) up all the time. I don't need sex tapes," Abraham added.
Abraham also explained that she has been working hard to build her own brand and doesn't need the exposure to "help" her along. Not only has she starred on MTV and built a strong fan base, Abraham has written her memoirs, recorded an album, and has had special guest appearances on various TV shows.
Abraham is also the mother of 4-year-old Sophia, whom she has raised on her own; Sophia's father, Derek Underwood, died before she was born. Abraham chose to be part of MTV's ground-breaking series "16 and Pregnant" before signing on to four years of "Teen Mom."
Now that the series has ended, Abraham has had more time to tour the country with Sophia and work towards her goals of being a permanent figure in the entertainment industry. Her latest actions have certainly kept her in the headlines, though, with a DUI arrest that she blamed on an illness.
