Fort Thomas Shooting: Police Reveal One victim in Kentucky Office Park Incident
Police responded to a shooting involving multiple victims Tuesday morning at an office and medical building on Fort Thomas in Kentucky
The shooting occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. when workers revealed that an unidentified person entered the building and began to open fire, aiming indiscriminately at the fleeing workers.
Attorney Tim Schneider stated that he was in his law office in an adjacent building when he heard a gunshot. He and his employees left the building, but were later told the scene was secured and his employees could return to work, according to WLWT.
Maggie Irvin who was at the location during the shooting said she was leaving her daughter's dentist office when a woman ran up to her and said "Ma'am, there's a shooter over there."
Irvin said she went back to the dentist's office, where police told them to lock the doors and stay inside, according to KLTV.
Irvin said she saw officers escort a woman from the building and then saw someone brought out on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance.
Authorities did confirm that one person was transported to UC Medical Center, but have yet to release the condition of the victim.
