The Android 4.2.2 could also be released on the Brazilian version of the LG Nexus 4.

Before being shipped to major carriers in the nation in December, around 1,000 Nexus 4 models had Android 4.2.2, JellyBean installed into them, according to a South American blog.

Very little is known at this time about the minor Android update at this time. However, it is sure to make for a smoother performance for the operating system overall.

Google recently deleted the Nexus 4.1.2 image from its servers indicating that the company would be ushering in a new build of the operating system on the device. This Android 4.2.2-powered Nexus 4 in Brazil solidifies this theory.

However, all this information should be taken with a grain of salt as Google has not confirmed anything yet.

The Nexus 4 launched at the end of last year and is one of the most impressive handsets on the market.

Specifications on the device include a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 768 pixel resolution and 320 ppi, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, NFC (near-field-communications), a slimport HDMI port, and wireless charging capabilities.

In terms of power, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU with 2GB RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, depending on what model is purchased.
