Galaxy Note 2 Verizon Pictures Leak (PHOTOS)
Pictures of the Galaxy Note 2 Verizon model have leaked onto the internet this week.
These photos display the device with both a Verizon and Galaxy Note 2 logo on the smartphone-tablet hybrid's backing.
Verizon has not made any official confirmations regarding the device, but judging from these pictures it is safe to say that it will probably land on the carrier around the same time it is released for AT&T.
The Galaxy Note 2 will be released on Oct. 21 for AT&T, which is also the same day the carrier will release the iPhone 5.
The device might also be available on Sprint.
Phandroid.com is reporting that an XDA user found a Sprint RDF otherwise known as a device profile that matches up to the specs on the Galaxy Note 2. There also is said to be further confirmation out there for the device coming to the carrier.
The specs in the profile included an Exynos4412 processor, a 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, Android 4.1.1, JellyBean, support for EVDO, DOrA, Wi-Fi, LTE, and 2GB RAM.
Samsung unveiled the device at its "Unpacked" event last week in Berlin and showed off some of the Galaxy Note 2's finer features, including the new and improved S Pen stylus.
The company spent most of its presentation of the device on the redesigned accessory that comes with some new and exciting features. It now sports a better grip and a rubber tip, and when it is pulled out of its holder, a contextual page pops up asking the user what tasks they would like to perform with it.
The new Note also features "Air View," which is accessible in many apps and gives the user a preview of their videos or photos when they are hovered over with the S Pen.
