Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat Update Rolls Out to Sprint and U.S. Cellular
The Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat update is now available for Sprint and U.S. Cellular customers.
These are the first two major carriers to receive the update for the Galaxy Note 3. The roll out could take several days to arrive for certain customers.
Some Sprint users are reporting that there have been improvements made to call audio and that the update also brings several bug fixes. The U.S. Cellular update most likely features similar changes.

The U.S. Cellular update page for the Note 3 also suggests that users can get the update right away if they download and install it using Samsung KIES.
A fix for the recent Android 4.4 KitKat update that rolled out for the international Galaxy Note 3 is now available.
Note 3 owners noticed that their 3rd party flip covers were no longer working properly after downloading and installing this KitKat build. Samsung denied that this issue was related to the update at first, but later admitted that it broke 3rd party accessory support.
The company than promised a fix for Note 3 owners. That adjustment is now available for users in Poland and Russia and will begin rolling out in other regions shortly. Along with repairing the accessory bug, the update will also fix an issue that prevented writing to external storage after updating to KitKat.
The Android 4.4 KitKat update will roll out to most of Samsung's high-end devices in the near future.
The company released a list of those that will upgrade via press release earlier this week that included the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Light, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.
