Galaxy Note 3 to Feature a 5.9-Inch Display
Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 could feature a 5.9-inch display when it is released later this year.
A Korean media site is reporting that the company will release a device that is around 6 inches this year and it could either be the new Note or a new smartphone-tablet hybrid line.
This larger device is also expected to feature Samsung's Exynos Octa-core processor when it launches. This chip is rumored to be debuting on the Galaxy S4 that will be unveiled next week.
Samsung released a teaser trailer this week for the upcoming Galaxy S4 unveiling.
The new ad features different people talking about the event calling it "top secret." It also shows the company putting a boy in charge of the device that will most likely be the Galaxy S4.
A second part to the video features this young boy being tempted to reveal the Galaxy S4 to some of his peers, but he fights off some of their advances and keeps the handset a secret.
The next Mobile "Unpacked" event is set to take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on March 14, 2013.
@Evleaks, a Twitter-based tech news outlet, tweeted out a picture that reveals the specifications for the Galaxy S4. It also shows the design for the smartphone.
The specifications in the picture include a 5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, 13-megapixel camera, 2GB RAM, and Android 4.2, JellyBean. The device will also come in three different memory capacities, with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
The picture does not feature any information about the processor that will be used for the device. Information on the processor has been a bit confusing as some tech outlets have stated that Samsung will use its new Exynos Octa-core processor, while others claim the company will go with a Snapdragon quad-core S4.
