Galaxy Note 4 Rumors: New Samsung Web Profile Hints at QHD Display
Samsung posted a web profile that could be for a Galaxy Note 4 model packing a QHD display.
The device that appears falls under the codename SM-N910A and it comes with a display with a resolution of 2560x1440. Samsung might be going with a display of this caliber to combat the recently released LG G3 that has a similar screen.
The Note 4 is also expected to include an Exynos 5433 CPU for the European model.
Sam Mobile reports that a model with a Snapdragon 805 will be released in North America, Korea, China and Japan. The rest of the world will receive the Exynos powered model that comes paired with an Intel Cat 6 LTE chip. Both versions will also have QHD displays with a UV sensor and a next-gen 16-megapixel camera.
Samsung plans to add a few new features to the software for the Galaxy Note 4 including Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher and Smart Fingerprint.
A previous SamMobile report claimed that Samsung is currently testing out a few new software features that utilize the Galaxy S5 hardware and plans to debut them on the Note 4. Swipe to Launch and Smart Fingerprint are just a few of the features that will come on the new software.
The Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher will be similar to the HTC One M8's motion launcher feature which means it could be used to swipe gestures on the screen to wake the display, launch the camera and more. Smart Fingerprint could allow users to customize actions when a finger print in scanned.
Other features include Aqua Mode and a Multi Network for Booster. Aqua Mode will allow users to take pictures under water while the latter of these could make it have the same download booster as the S5.
