Galaxy S4 Specs: Camera to Feature 3D Support
The latest Galaxy S4 spec rumors point to the handset's camera featuring 3D support.
Based on some of the various patents Samsung has filed recently, the company could have 3D support on the camera that will be featured on the Galaxy S4. The device is rumored to come with a 13-megapixel rear shooter.
Leaked pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S4 surfaced early yesterday, revealing more about the device's specifications and confirming the 13-megapixel camera.
The pictures were leaked by a well known Chinese forum known as Sammyhub. They do not appear to be photoshopped, but they could just be another prototype model that Samsung might have been testing at some point. Samsung also did this with the Galaxy S3.
Specifications on the device in the picture are quite impressive as the device boasts a Full HD 1080p display, a 1.8GHz processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and runs Android 4.2.1.
However, the Galaxy S4 hardware specs might not be the selling point of the smartphone when it makes its debut later this week.
Special features seem to be what Samsung hopes will differentiate the new device from competitors who can match their processor. SamMobile recently revealed another one of these features that will be included on the Galaxy S4.
The company hopes to excited fans at this week's unveiling with a new feature called "eye scroll" which basically tracks a user's eye with the front camera. While tracking the user's eye, the device will scroll up or down on a page based on where the person is looking. The device will also pause a video once the user looks away from its screen.
The Galaxy S4 will be unveiled this upcoming Thursday at a Mobile "Unpacked" event in New York City.
