'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Spoilers: Caterina Scorsone Talks Amelia's Stability and 'Explosive' Finale (VIDEO)
"Grey's Anatomy" returns to ABC this Thursday, picking up where last week left off when Derek Shepherd's recovering addict sister Amelia returned to Seattle.
Caterina Scorsone, who portrays Amelia, recently offered keen insight to the next couple of episodes leading up to the highly-anticipated season 10 finale of "Grey's." Moreover, the actress gave away some spoilers about the medical drama.
"Amelia is not an uncomplicated character. She's endured enough traumas that she'll be working for the rest of her life. So, I'm sure there plenty [of demons to battle] in the coming episodes," Scorsone warned, according to TV Line.
The actress also touched on what is in store for this Thursday's installment of the show, entitled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." During the show, Amelia and Derek work together on a unique case.
"It's a very complicated neurology case involving conjoined twins, so we need to work in tandem, because you've got two brains as one," the actress revealed. "Luckily, both Shepherd siblings are brilliant neurosurgeons."
Looking ahead to the May 15 finale, Scorsone confirmed that the closer will see some sort of terrorist event that injures hundreds; sending Grey Sloan Memorial into chaos.
"Yes, it's an explosive episode," the actress told TV Line. "It's going to be 'all hands on deck,' absolutely. It's chaos. It's Shondaland!"
Meanwhile, "Grey's" fans are also gearing up for the finale since it will be actress Sandra Oh's last appearance as Cristina Yang on the series. However, series creator Shonda Rhimes promised viewers that Oh "will get the exit she deserves."
"Grey's Anatomy" airs on ABC Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is as follows: "Cristina seeks guidance from Meredith as she makes a decision about her future. Meanwhile, Derek and Amelia join forces to operate on conjoined twins; Jo takes on too many cases; and Stephanie uncovers the truth about Bailey's bubble-boy case."
