Hilary Duff: Disney's 'Lizzie McGuire' Pregnant
Disney’s “Lizzie McGuire” is all grown up! This past weekend, Hilary Duff, star of the Disney series, announced her one-year wedding anniversary to husband Mike Comrie. The August 14 post also stated that the two are expecting a new addition to their family.
“I can’t believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you’re having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that…BABY MAKES THREE!!!” Duff wrote on her official web site.
Hilary Duff made her Disney debut in 2001 as Lizzie McGuire and ten years later the singer-actress has fans reflecting on Twitter.
“Hilary Duff is pregnant?? I need 2 find my Lizzie Movie soundtrack & put “So Yesterday” on repeat. Yikes. I guess I have 2 of her albums…” @staceyfarber18 tweeted.

The 23-year-old responded to the influx of well wishes tweeting, “Wow! I am just overwhelmed by all the wonderful messages everyone is sending! Thank you so much! Big hugs! Xxo.”
Duff has been featured in films such as “A Cinderella Story,” co-starring Chad Michael Murray and “Cheaper by the Dozen 1&2” with Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. Also, she starred in the 2003 smash hit, “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.”
Hilary Duff has had a successful music career, with her 2004 album, “Hilary Duff,” which has sold almost two million copies to date. In 2007, her album “Dignity” was certified gold in August.
Duff released a compilation of her greatest hits, “Best of Hilary Duff,” whose single “Reach Out” became her third #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play.
The 23-year-old also launched a clothing line that includes, “Stuff” by Hilary Duff and “Femme” for DKNY Jeans. The singer-actress became an author in 2010 with the release of her book, “Elixir,” a supernatural love story following 17-year-old photographer Clea Raymond.
“Devoted,” the sequel to Duff’s debut novel will hit stores October 11.
